Football Fanatic

“Football is just a great way to express yourself,” Stickle said. David Stickle has been playing football for awhile. This summer he went to Mercer University to attend a one-day summer football camp in Macon, Georgia. One reason Stickle attended the football camp was because a lot of coaches from other colleges would be there, so that was his time to try and stick out from the rest. “They had us run routes and work on footwork. The best part was when I made a good catch,” Stickle said. He had a great time at the mega camp but there were some flaws: “A lot of the players where trying to cut in line, which was a little irritating,” Stickle said. Stickle plans on working on many things to make him a better football player. He is going to run routes, practice on blocking footwork, and catching the ball this summer along with football practice at school.  The next time Stickle goes to another camp, he wants to show them all he is capable of and more.
