Summer Rogers
"A positive, generous ray of sunshine," is how Summer Rogers would describe herself when asked. She plays 4th chair clarinet in the Wind Ensemble and is the historian for Tri-M, a musical honors society “We reach out and help the middle school band along with service projects to benefit our community,’ Rogers said. She hopes to attend Pensacola State College before branching out to attend bigger universities, " My biggest aspiration is to help people as much as I can and leave a positive impact on others," Rogers said. She has a three-year-old mini schnauzer who " always smells good and is really fluffy” named Lilly. Rogers has lived in Pace, Florida all her life however her dream vacation would be a tropical and rejuvenating  stay in the Bahamas, “I would love to stay in one of those huts, especially the boujee ones” Rogers said.  She loves pasta, Ben & Jerry's half-baked ice cream, and her favorite colors are either pink or yellow. “One thing I definitely couldn’t live without is music," likewise, her favorite song is ‘3 nights’ by Dominic Fike. Her favorite book is To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, she could "forever binge-watch Stranger Things," and she loves all Disney movies "My favorite is Tangled because it's super cheesy and really cute," Rogers said. “Some of my favorite things include sweet tea, scrunchies, breakfast food, Chick-fil-a, and Panera’s bread,” Rogers said. She is a loved member in yearbook and will continue to exceed expectations in our staff.
