Amanda Ates, Staff Member
Amanda Ates is a freshman member in yearbook; she is fourteen-years-old. Ates has many hobbies outside of yearbook, including hanging out with friends and listening to music. She's also a level eight gymnast at First City Gymnastics. "I love all of the friends I've made that I wouldn't have made otherwise," Ates said. During the summer, Ates went camping with her family in Arkansas, and she slept in an RV there. She preferred it over a tent. "Camping in a tent is either always too hot or too cold," Ates said. Before her trip to Arkansas, Ates went to Universal Studios with her family. After her trips, as summer started to wind down, Ates got ready for school by going back-to-school shopping at Office Depot for all of her high school necessities. "I'm looking forward to meeting new people this year," Ates said.
